Bridget Pat McClafferty, Falcarragh

The death has occurred of Bridget Pat McClafferty (née Duggan), Carrowcannon, Falcarragh.

Ms McClafferty passed away on Thursday, September 4.

Predeceased by her daughter Pat, sister Anna, and parents Bridget and Vin.

Sadly missed by her beloved husband Jim, her children Michelle, Kevin, Jimmy and Mark, her sister Sally, brothers Brian and Seamus, and her extended family and friends.

Pat was a very proud granny to Bridget, Kate, Kyla and Johnny.

Remains reposing at Gortahork Funeral Premises F92 FT7C, from Friday, September 5, and from Saturday, September 6, from 5pm until 9pm both evenings. Rosary both nights at 8pm.

Funeral Mass will take place at 10.30am, on Sunday, September 7, in Teach Phobail Naomh Fionán, Falcarragh Church, F92 N6Y9.

Private burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery, for family and friends.

John Stack, Clonmany and Dublin

The death has occurred of John Stack, formerly of St Columbcille Village, Clonmany, Riverdale Park, Straboe, Buncrana and Blackrock, Co Dublin.

Mr Stack passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday, September 2.

He is sadly missed by his loving children Sean, Siobhan, Marie, Niall and Olivia and their mother Celine much loved grandfather of James, Alfie, Lily, Oscar, Se, Rylan, Eloise, Lloyd and Fionn, father-in-law of Brendan, Ralph, and Jodie, brother of Louise, Margaret and the late Eilish, Edmond and Michael. Deeply regretted by his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours, all the wonderful staff at St Columbcille Village, Clonmany

John will be reposing in his home St Columbcille Village, Clonmany from 3 pm on Friday.

Requiem Mass will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Cockhill, on Saturday at 11 o’clock followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Teresa McGarvey, Creeslough

The death has occurred of Teresa McGarvey, Derryart, Creeslough and Templeogue, Dublin.

Ms McGarvey passed away in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin on Tuesday, September 2.

Teresa will be sadly missed by all her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Her remains will arrive at St Michael’s Church Creeslough on Friday, September 5, at 6 pm to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass there on Saturday, September 6, at 11 am, followed by burial in Doe Graveyard.

John McDyre, Glenties

The death has occurred of John McDyre, Maas, Glenties.

Mr McDyre passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in his 102nd year on Wednesday, September 3.

Predeceased by his loving wife Ann.

Forever loved by his sons Gerard (Helen), Bernard (Deirdre), Denis (Elizabeth) , daughter’s Breege (PJ RIP), Bernadette (Paddy), Ann Marie (Donal), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family neighbours and friends.

John’s remains will repose at his home.

Removal from his home on Saturday morning at 10.30am to St. Connells Church, Glenties for requiem mass at 11am with interment afterwards in the local cemetery.

Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Family time from 10pm until 10am

May Byrne, Mountcharles

The death has occurred of May Byrne, Lower Main Street, Mountcharles.

Ms Byrne passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, September 3.

Cherished and adored mother of Alison (Donal), Tony (Sandra), Brian (Anita), Angela, Aine (Adrian) and much loved grandmother of Grace, Shéa, Daniel, Ella and Romy.

Predecesded by her loving husband Sonny and baby son James.

May will repose at her late residence.

Funeral Mass on Friday, September 5 at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Family flowers only, please.

Nancy McCallion, Quigley’s Point

The death has taken place of Nancy McCallion, September 1, late of Parochial House Brisland Road, Eglinton and Meedinmore, Quigley’s Point.

Dedicated housekeeper to Fr Michael Keaveny.

Beloved daughter of the late Denis and Ellen McCallion and dear sister of the late James, Mary, Sean, Teresa and Helen, a much loved aunt, dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the Fallon family, Walter, Peter, Nicky (Nicola) and Deirdre, and her entire family circle and many friends.

Remains reposing in the home of her niece, Helen Grant, Ture, Muff, F93 F8F5.

Funeral from there on Friday, September 5 at 11.20am for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Iskaheen at 12 noon.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please.

Marion Doherty (née Canning), Greencastle

The peaceful death has taken place at her home of Marion Doherty (née Canning), Eleven Ballyboes, Greencastle, F93 VHC6.

Beloved wife of George and much-loved mother of Keith (Donna), Carol (John), Claire (Patrick) and Mairéad (James) and devoted granny of Clara, Ronan, Evan, Declan, Aoife, Jamie, Cillian, Donncha, Paudie, James and Georgia.

Predeceased by her sister Sr Anna Fidelis.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sisters and brother, Kathleen, Margaret, Phyllis, Josie, Bernie and Michael, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

May Marion Rest In Peace.

Marion’s remains are reposing at her home.

Funeral from there on Friday, September 5 at 10.20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Ballybrack, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
