The death has occurred of Mary Ward (née Gallagher), Brinalack, Gweedore.

Ms Ward passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Wednesday, October 23.

Predeceased by her parents Dan and Grace, sisters Madgie and Gráinne, brothers Paddy and Owenie, infant brothers Charlie and Dan and granddaughter Ríona.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Manus, daughters Graceanne (Colm), Maria (Declan), Maeve (Thomas), sons Thomas (Michelle) and Owen (Ciara), grandchildren Shaun, Manus, Tadhg, Ruadhan, Fionnan, Fia, Leah, Maryanne and Aoife, brother John and extended family and friends.

Reposing at her son Thomas’ residence (F92 F8P8) in Brinalack with Rosary at 8pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 11am in St. Colmcille’s Church, Cnoc Fola with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Daniel Brendan McKeown, Fintown

The death has occurred of Daniel Brendan McKeown, Meenasrone, Fintown.

Mr McKeown passed away in Nottingham, England on Monday, October 14.

Reposing at the home of his brother, John McKeown, in Meenasrone, Fintown, F94RX61, from 11 am on Saturday, October 26.

Requiem Mass at 1.30 pm on Sunday, October 27, in St. Colmcille’s Chapel, Fintown, with burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Rosary at 9 pm with family time from 10 pm and on the morning of the Funeral.

He is survived by his wife Grace, daughters Christine, Mary, Sarah and Naan, sons, Brendan and Sean, sister Breda and brothers John and Declan.

He is pre-deceased by his parents Brigid and Joseph, brother Michael, sisters Nancy and Mary.

Gerry Kennedy, Kilcar

The death has occurred of Gerry Kennedy, Towney Road, Kilcar.

Mr Kennedy passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 23.

He will be sadly missed by all.

A much loved husband to Goretti, much loved father of daughter Claire (Eamon) and son David (Deirdre).

Loving grandad of Shauna, Cian, Ailis, Jack, Naoise and Fiadh and great grandad of  Millie.

Dearest brother of Tague, Noel, Aidan, Jimmy, Maire, Cait, Anne and Martina.

His sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, wider family circle and many friends.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mamie and brothers Liam and Paddy.

Remains reposing at Shovlin’s Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara (F94 A250) today, Friday, October 25 from 3pm to 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11am in St. Cartha’s Church, Kilcar with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Susanna Fahey, Fanad

The death has occurred of Susanna Fahey (née Dorrian), Ballure, Fanad.

Ms Fahey passed away peacefully at the Donegal Hospice surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 23.

Pre-deceased by her parents Willie and Jiley and her sisters Caitlin, Rose and Eileen.

Much loved wife of Allan, mother of Jacqueline (Gerard), Paul (Jess), Gavin (Claire), Amanda and Jenna.

Much adored granny to her seven grandchildren and a loving sister.

Sadly missed and always remembered by her family, neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at her late residence.

House private please from 10pm to 12 noon.

Bus in operation each evening from 6.30pm.

Rosary each night at 9pm.

Kieran Doherty, Strabane, St Johnston and Lifford

The death has occurred of Kieran Doherty, 3 Melmount Villas, Strabane and Creatland, St Johnston and formerly of Porthall Lifford.

Mr Doherty passed away at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Thursday, October 24.

Devoted husband of the late Majella (née O`Kane), much loved father of Connor, dearly loved grandfather of Kyran, beloved son of the late Mary Sarah and Willie Doherty and a dear brother of Liam and Marie.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing son, grandson, brother, sister and family circle.

Reposing at Quigley’s Funeral Home today, Friday, October 25 from 7pm to 8pm

Funeral leaving the funeral home on Saturday, October 26 at 11.30a.m.

for Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Melmount at 12 noon.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Matilda (Tillie) Spratt, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Matilda (Tillie) Spratt (née Sweeney), Garryharry, Letterkenny.

Ms Spratt passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Wednesday, October 23.

She is survived by her loving husband Lexie, sons Melvin, Graham (Alison) and Jason (Katie), daughters Amanda, Yvonne Brogan (Brian), Lorraine Brogan (Ciaran) and Orla Baxter (Raymond), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Tommy Sweeney (Cloncarney, Trentagh and Bill Sweeney (Garryharry, Letterkenny), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

House private to family and neighbours only please.

Funeral leaving her late residence today, Friday, October 25, at 1.15pm going to Conwal Parish Church, Letterkenny for Service of Thanksgiving at 2pm.

Interment afterwards in Gortlee Cemetery.

Susan McDermott, Moville

The death has occurred of Susan McDermott, St Finian’s Park, Moville.

Ms McDermott passed away peacefully at Carndonagh Community Hospital on Tuesday, October 22.

Predeceased by her husband Michael and a much loved mother of Donal, Helene, Michael, Dermot, Joseph, Susan, Seamus and Maria.

A devoted granny to her 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sister Eileen Connolly (Paisley, Scotland), her daughters-in-law, Joyce, Suzanne, Aideen, Teresa and Sons in Law, John and Joe, her nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Funeral from her home today, Friday, October 25 at 10.30am for 11am Funeral Mass in St Pius X Church, Moville followed by Interment in Bocan Graveyard.

Michael Mick Galvin, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Michael Mick Galvin, 7 McClure Terrace, Letterkenny and formerly of Dublin City.

Mr Galvin, who lived his life on his own terms, passed away on Saturday, October 19.

He will be missed by his children Tracy, Stuart and Stephen, grandchildren Emily and Rua, sisters Maureen and Kath and also extended family Monica and all that knew him.

Private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan with a remembrance ceremony will be held in due time in Dublin.

Clement Gallagher, Inver

The death has occurred of Clemet Gallagher, Meenacahan, Inver.

Mr Gallagher passed away peacefully at Galway University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Augustine and Mamie Gallagher.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Kathleen (nee Campbell), daughters Kelly (Padraig Beirne), Tara, and Ruth (Michael Stamp), and grandchild Aideen, siblings Olive, Yvonne, Eunan, Naomi, Dympna and Finbarr, brothers and sisters in law, aunt Roisin Herron, uncle Donal Kelly, nephews and nieces, relations, neighbours, friends, Ardara Sets Dancers, and extended dancing community.

Reposing at his home (F94DY64) today, Friday from 11 am to 9 pm with Rosary at 9 pm.

Removal on Saturday morning for 12 noon Requiem Mass in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Frosses with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Bobby Doherty, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Bobby Doherty, 1 Ballymacool Terrace, Letterkenny.

Mr Doherty passed away in Brentwood Manor Nursing Home, Convoy on Wednesday, October 23.

Remains will be reposing at Letterkenny Funeral Home, Port Road, Letterkenny (F92 P407) from 2pm to 9pm today, Thursday, October 24 with Rosary at 9pm.

Predeceased by her parents Neilus and Sheila Doherty, sister Mary Frances and twin brother Neilus, survived by her sister Vera (Terry), brothers Patrick and Johnny.

Remains leaving the Letterkenny Funeral Home today, Friday, October 25 at 10.30am for 11am Mass in the St. Eunans Cathedral, Letterkenny with burial afterwards in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Shelia Deane, Darney, Bruckless.

Ms Deane passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 23.

Predeceased by her husband Alan, parents Patrick and Bridget Gallagher and brothers and sisters, Edward, Margaret, Patrick Joe, Susanna, James, Bridget, Nora, Francis, Catherine, Gerard, Benard, Leo and Philip.

Much loved mother of Alaxandra (Brian Burgess) and Elizabeth (Peter McGroary) and adoring grandmother of Dean Burgess, extended relatives, good neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Jim Crilly, Gortnamuck, Castlefinn.

Mr Crilly passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 22.

Beloved husband of Iris, much loved father of Timothy (Heather), William (Mandy), Nigel (Rosemary) and the late Johnathan ((Sandra), loving grandad of Lauren, Zara, Jemma, Aimee, Stuart, Jordan, Meagan and Emily and great-grandad of Archie, Evie, Sophie-Rose and Éabha, dearest brother of Angela (Graham) and the late Kathleen (Len).

Funeral from the family home today, Friday, October 25, at 1.30 pm for Service Of Thanksgiving for the life of Jim at 2 pm in Alt Presbyterian Church.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Barry Breslin, Kilcar

The death has occurred of Barry Breslin, Straleel, Kilcar.

Mr Breslin tragically passed away as a result of an accident in Perth on Thursday, October 3.

Beloved father to his son Tommy.

Sadly missed by his loving Fiancée Melissa, his parents Mary and Seamus, his brothers Owen (Beth and Hazel) and Shane (Gerard), his grandmother Mary Ann (Byrne), his aunts, uncles, cosuins, extended family, many friends and neighbours.

The death has occurred of Matthew (Matt) Magee, Silverhill, West End, Bundoran and formerly of Derrymacash, Lurgan, Armagh.

Mr Magee passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 16.

Beloved partner of the late Bernadette Cassidy, son of the late Matthew Magee and brother of the late Laura.

Matthew will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his adoring children, Tracy (Evan), Shauna (Marek), Sean (Ciara), Michael (Rebekah), Matthew Jnr, Owen (Dana) and Ruth (Joshua), his beloved grandchildren Logan, Daisy, Ezekiel, Myles, Korey, Mason and Leon, his heartbroken mother Maureen, his brothers Jamie, John, Harry and Colin his sister Linda, his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and all his many relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal from his mother’s on Friday morning, October 25 to St. Patrick’s Church, Derrymacash, Lurgan for Mass of the Resurrection (time to be confirmed) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
