Charlie McFadden, Gortahork

The death has occurred of Charlie McFadden, Ardsbeg, Gortahork.

Mr McFadden passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 16.

Predeceased by his son Michael, daughter Bella, his parents Bella and Michéal, sisters Breid and Moira and brother John.

Survived by his wife Anna, daughters Teresa and partner Shane, Isobel, son Seamus, daughter in law Gráinne, granddaughters Sally, Anna and Sandra, brothers Eddie, Paddy, William, Michael and Danny, sister Anna, in-laws, nieces and nephews and a circle of family and friends.

His remains will be reposing at Gortahork Funeral Premises F92 FT7C today, Friday, October 18, from 12pm to 6pm with removal from there to Christ the King Church, Gortahork F92 DP86 at 6pm Rosary to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, October 19 at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery.

Kenneth Hegarty, Bridgend

The death has occurred of Kenneth Hegarty, 274 Skeoge Cottages, Bridgend.

Mr Hegarty passed away at his home on Thursday, October 17.

Beloved husband of Moire, much loved father of John, Noel, Kelley, Gillian and Vanessa and dear brother of Michael, Brendan, Patricia Smith, Valerie Shanley and the late Eunan, Rosemary Campbell and his twin brother Kevin.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, extended family and friends.

His remains are reposing at the Hegarty’s family home in Bonemaine, Bridgend.

Removal from there on Saturday morning, October 19, at 10.15am going to St. Aengus’ Church, Burt for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in Burt Cemetery.

Thomas (Tommy) Friel, Letterkenny and London

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy) Friel, 60 Elmwood Downs, Letterkenny and formerly 27 Ard O’Donnell, Letterkenny and London.

Mr Friel passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 17.

Predeceased by his wife Eileen, his parents Arthur and Mary Friel, his brothers Pat and Charlie Doherty and his sister Kay McGlynn.

Deeply regretted by his family, brother James and wife Grace, daughter Elaine and husband Colin, son David, grandchildren Corrina and Reece, his many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Reposing at his late residence from 12 noon until 9pm on Friday, October 18, concluding with Rosary.

Funeral from there on Saturday, October 19 going to St Eunan’s Cathedral for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Mabel Cassidy, Bruckless

The death has occurred of Mabel Cassidy, Tullintain, Bruckless.

Ms Cassidy passed away peacefully at Donegal Community Hospital on Wednesday, October 16.

Predeceased by her husband Andrew and brother Freddie.

Much loved mother of Drew (Evelyn), Robert (Julie), Stuart (Olga), David (Ethna), Eleanor (Hugh), Georgina (Thomas) and Walter (Emma).

Sadly missed by her sisters Betty and Gina, grandchildren Morgan, Laura, Grace, Andrew, James, Matthew, Gary, Luke, Darren, Alfie and Ollie, great-grandchildren Tommy and Ethan, relatives and friends.

Remains reposing at her son Stuart’s home, Tullintain (F94 D1H5) today, Friday from 12pm to 9pm.

Removal on Saturday at 12.30pm to Dunkineely Methodist Church for Funeral service at 1pm with burial afterwards in Killaghtee cemetery.

Teresa Marie O’Rourke, Carrigart

The death has taken place of Teresa Marie O’Rourke, Dunmore, Carrigart.

Ms O’Rourke passed away suddenly in Brighton, England on Thursday, October 3.

Precious daughter of Brigid and Vincent, Dunmore, Carrigart, beloved partner to Chris.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her partner, Chris, her mum and dad, Brigid and Vincent, by her aunts, uncles and cousins in the McGettigan family circle, the O’Rourke family circle and the Johnston family circle and by her very many friends in Ireland and England.

Predeceased by her loving brother Vincent John.

Reposing at her parents’ house in Dunmore, Carrigart from 11am to 9pm on Friday, October 18.

Funeral Mass in St John the Baptist Church, Carrigart on Saturday, October 19 at 11am followed by internment in the adjoining graveyard.

Nellie Mc Elhinney, Falcarragh

The death has occurred of Nellie Mc Elhinney (née Harkin), Church Road, Falcarragh.

Ms Mc Elhinney passed away peacefully in the Lakehouse Nursing Home, Portnablagh, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 15.

Predeceased by her husband Stephen.

Survived by her sons Martin, John and Stephen, daughters-in-law Bridin, Josette and Jackie, grandchildren Helena, Cathy, Declan, Kim, Kristie and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a circle of family and friends.

John Mc Geary, Armagh, Cavan, Donegal and Monaghan

The death has occurred of John Mc Geary, Armagh, Cavan, Donegal and Monaghan.

Mr Mc Geary passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 15.

He is the beloved husband of Mary, father to John, Siobhan, Kevin, Macarten, Nuala and Sara, brother to Patsy (Dundalk), Mary Rooney (Coventry), Leo and Briege Mc Quaid (Dungannon) and the late Tommy and Kathleen Morrison.

May they rest in peace.

Mary Mansfield, Dublin and Falcarragh

The death has occurred of Mary Mansfield (née Doogan), Palmerstown Dublin and Ballyness, Falcarragh.

Ms Mansfield passed away peacefully in the Hermitage Clinic on Tuesday, October 15.

Beloved wife of the late Bernard (Ben) and dear mother of Michael, Marie, Eilish, Áine and Ben Junior.

Devoted grandmother to Conor (Lindsey), Keane (Elizabeth), Gavin, Darcy, Eoin, Neil, Harry, Zach, Emily, Mariamna and Killian.

Great-grandmother to Cecily and Amelia.

Predeceased by her siblings Annie, Una, Joe and Manus.

Ms Mansfield will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Corla, sons-in-law Shane, Eugene and Robert, brothers Séamus and Neil, sister and best friend Sheila, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and wonderful neighbours.

Removal on Friday morning, October 18, to St. Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.

Joan Considine, Dublin and Malin Head

The death has occurred of Joan Considine (née McGinty), Dublin and formerly Malin Head.

Ms Considine passed away unexpectedly in St Vincent’s Private Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 11.

Pre-deceased by her husband Con, parents Joseph and Jane and brother Raymond. Joan will be deeply missed by her loving daughter Rachel, her cherished granddaughter Ella, sisters Margaret (Refoy), Carmel (Newton), Anne (Druhan), brothers John, Michael (Ted), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

House Private.

Removal on Saturday morning, October 19 to the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin arriving at 9.50am for a 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery.
