Joseph Gallagher, Carrigart

The death has occurred of Joseph Gallagher, Áras Uí Dhomhnaill Nursing Home, formally of Claggan, Carrigart Co Donegal, F92 V128.

His death occurred peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Tommy and Hannah, three of his brothers Pat, John and Tommy and his daughter Sheena.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Pauline and his children Chris, Colm and John, his grandchildren, his sister Hannah and brother Jim, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his late residence on Friday, November 21.

Removal for funeral Mass at St John the Baptist Church, Carrigart on Saturday, November 22 for 11am followed by burial afterwards.

House private on the morning of the funeral.

Peter Houston, Birmingham and Newtowncunningham

The peaceful death has taken place in Birmingham, England of Peter Houston, formerly of Roosky, Newtowncunningham, Co Donegal.

Beloved husband of the Late Margaret (nee Gillespie) loving father of Pauline, Eamon, Peter and Kieron.

Father-in-law of Brendan, Karen, Sarah and Claire-Marie.

A much loved grandfather and great-grandfather.

Beloved son of the late George and Catherine, much loved brother of Kathleen, George, Monica, Martin and the late Mary, Barney, Bernadette, Francie and Joe.

Funeral arrangements later in Co Donegal.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his family and everyone that knew him.

Joe Houston, Birmingham and Newtowncunningham

The peaceful death has taken place in Birmingham, England of Joe Houston, formerly of  Roosky, Newtowncunningham, Co Donegal.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen, loving father of George and the late Maureen.

Father-in-law of Andrea, a much loved grandfather, beloved son of the late George and Catherine

Much loved brother of Kathleen, George, Monica, Martin and the Late Mary, Barney, Bernadette, Francie and Peter.

Funeral arrangements later in Birmingham.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his family and everyone that knew him.

Teddy McGlinchey, Newtowncunningham

The death has occurred of Teddy McGlinchey, 486 Colehill Park, Newtowncunningham.

Mr McGlinchey passed away peacefully in the caring hands of the staff in Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Majella (July 2024) and baby granddaughter Jane. Loving father to Marie, Pauline, Shaun, sons in law and daughter in law.

Fondly remembered by his ten cherished grandchildren, extended family members, good neighbours and many friends.

Teddy’s remains will repose at his late residence from 1pm today, Friday, November 21.

Funeral from there on Sunday morning, November 23for requiem Mass in All Saints Church Newtoncunnigham at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Eddie Griffin, Fanad

The death has occurred of Eddie Griffin, Aughadreena, Rossnakill, Fanad.

Mr Griffin passed away on Wednesday, November 19.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken parents John and Clare, loving sister and brother Erin and Sean, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and his many friends.

Reposing at his late residence.

House private please.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, November 22 at 11am in St Columba’s Church, Massmount.

Burial afterwards in Massmount Cemetery.

Elizabeth Caroline Clarke, Laghey

The death has occurred of Elizabeth Caroline Clarke, Bellview, Lisnapaste, Laghey.

Ms Clarke passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 19.

Elizabeth is predeceased by her parents, George and Caroline.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her brother George, (Margaret) George, Gerard, Aisling and Conor, brother William, sister Priscilla (Mary) and brother Sam, her extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Elizabeth will repose at her home on Friday, November 21, from 1pm to 10pm.

The Funeral Service will be held at her home on Saturday, November 22 at 1pm, followed by burial afterwards in Drumholm graveyard, Ballintra.

Rose Cannon, Kilcar

The death has occurred of Rose Cannon, Roxborough, Kilcar.

Ms Cannon passed away peacefully in her 95th year at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 19.

Predeceased by her dear husband Maurice and son Seamus.

Rose will be sadly missed by her son Neilly, daughter Linda and sister Bridie Neil, daughters in law Geraldine and Fiona and son in law Jarlath.
Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Martina (Clement), James, Katie, Rosaleen, Maurice and her great grandsons Séimí and Danny.

Rose will repose at her late residence on Friday, November 21 from 11am, with rosary at 9pm.

Removal from her home on Saturday morning for funeral Mass in St Cartha’s Church, Kilcar at 12noon.

Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Charles Coll, London and Dunfanaghy

The death has taken place in Ealing, London of Charles Coll formerly of Parkmore, Marble Hill, Dunfanaghy, Donegal.

Sadly missed by his wife Nora, sons Anthony and Martin, grandchildren Emma, Zoe, Hayley, Keiran and Callum.

Funeral Mass at St Michael’s Church Creeslough on Friday, November 21, at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Doe Cemetery.

Tom Diver, Ardara

The death has occurred of Tom Diver, Drimaha, Ardara.

Mr Diver passed away peacefully.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Mary B, his sons Damian and David; his daughters Maria and Grainne; his sisters Mary, Philomena, Greta and brothers in law Bartley, Charlie and Jonny D; his brother Columba and sister in law Margeret.

He will be sadly missed by his son and daughters in law, his six grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends in the beautiful community of Ardara.

Reposing at home.

Family only on the morning of Friday, November 21, with funeral Mass at 12noon in the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Thomas Carr, Barnesmore

The death has occurred of Thomas Carr, Milltown, Barnesmore.

Mr Carr passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mary and his five brothers Frank, Eddie, Laurence, Peter and Gerard. Sadly missed by his loving wife Anna and his children Deirdre (Domnick), Marie (Cillian), Shane (Emer), Joel (Tara), Bridgeen (Michael), Emer (Gary) and his adoring thirteen Grandchildren, his sisters Mary (Pearse RIP) and Annie (Peter) brothers Joseph (Mary), Patrick (Alice), extended family, neighbours and friends.

Thomas was a devoted husband and a proud family man and he leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and kindness.

Reposing at his residence on Friday, November 21 from 3pm to 9pm.

Rosary at 9pm.

Removal to St Agatha’s Church, Clar on Saturday, November 22 for 11am funeral Mass followed by burial afterwards at St Agatha’s Cemetery, Clar.

House private on the morning of the funeral.

Robert (Bobby) Martin, Derry and Moville

The death has occurred of Robert (Bobby) Martin, Troy Park, Derry City and Moville.

Mr Martin passed away peacefully at Rush Hall Care Home, Limavadyon Wednesday, November 12.

Loving brother of Don and the late Joe, cherished brother-in-law of Martha and a much loved uncle and cousin.

Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, on Friday, November 21 from 5 pm to 6 pm.

Bobby will then be removed from there to repose overnight in St Pius Church, Moville.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated there on Saturday at 10 o’clock.

Interment afterwards in Ballybrack cemetery.
