Bridie (Nana) O’Donnell (née Gallagher) Middletown, Derrybeg

Maggie Ward (née Boyle) Mully, Glenties

Ann Norris (née Walsh), Glebe Farm, Moville and formerly Balla, Mayo

The death has occurred of Ann Norris Glebe Farm, Moville and formerly Balla, Mayo.

Ms Norris passed away following a short illness on Friday, October 4.

Predeceased by her parents Ned and Bridgie Walsh and her sister Kathleen Jennings, Co Mayo.

Beloved wife of Billy and much loved mother of William (Claire), Tommy, Edward (Melissa) and Cathy (Karol).

Devoted grandmother of Billy, Amy, Jamie, Ben, Lucy, Teddy, Conor, Liam and Brigid.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sisters Maura and Margaret, her brother’s Tommy, Lar, Eamon, Stephen and Jimmy, nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, brother’s-in-law, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Ann’s remains are now reposing at her home.

Wake is strictly private to family and close friends only.

Funeral from there on Sunday, October 6 at 12.20pm for 1pm Funeral Mass in St Pius X Church, Moville followed by private cremation in Lakeland’s Crematorium, Cavan.

Kathleen McLaughlin (née Gallen), 28, Tullycar Road, Aghyaran

The peaceful death has occurred at her home, surrounded by her loving family, of Kathleen McLaughlin (née Gallen), 28, Tullycar Road, Aghyaran BT81 7YB, 3rd October 2024 R.I.P.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Patrick, much loved mother of Josephine, Seamus, Michael, Marian, Pat, Kay, Jude, Anne and Peter, dear sister of Rita, Peggy, John and the late Molly, Brigid and Micheal, a much adored granny and great-grandmother.

Reposing at her late home on Friday 4th October 2024 from 11am.

Funeral from her late home on Sunday 6th October at 10.20am for Requiem Mass at 11am in St. Patrick’s Church, Aghyaran.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

The Mass can be viewed via the parish webcam.

A shuttle bus service will be in operation from The Aghyaran G.A.A. Centre.

Family time please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

The death has occurred in Ramelton Community Hospital of Jim O’Brien, Greenhill, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by his loving wife Pat and sisters Jeanette and Isobel.

Remains are reposing at the Letterkenny Funeral Home, Port road F92P407 from 7pm-9pm today Friday.

Funeral service on Saturday at 11.30am in Conwal Parish Church with burial afterwards in Gortlee cementry.

Barry Breslin, Straleel, Kilcar

The tragic death has occurred of Barry Breslin following an accident in Perth, Australia.

Beloved father to his son Tommy.

Sadly missed by his loving Fiancée, Melissa, his parents Mary and Seamus, his brothers Owen (Beth & Hazel) and Shane (Gerard).

House private until further notice.

Darragh Scanlon, Gloucester, England and Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Darragh Scanlon, Gloucester, England and Letterkenny.

Deeply missed by his brothers Jonathan (Jemima) and Eunan (Alice) (England), sister Martina Wolfe (Mike) (Scotland), nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins, and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Darragh is predeceased by his parents Shaunie and Ann.

Darragh’s remains will repose at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny F92 XE35 today, Friday, October 4 from 4pm with removal at 6.30pm going to his brother Jonathan’s home at Aughnagaddy, Ramelton.

House private to family only please.

Funeral from there on Saturday, October 5 at 12.15pm going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 1pm Requiem Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny.

Interment afterwards in All Saints Church Cemetery, Newtowncunningham.

Joe Chapman, 12 St. Colms Terrace, East End, Bundoran, Co. Donegal, 2nd October, 2024, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at The North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo.

Retired B.F.W Finner Camp, Retired Fire Officer, Bundoran Fire Station and founding member of Bundoran Inshore Lifeboat.

Beloved father of Maxine, Alan, Keith, Gary, Brian and Jacqueline.

Joe will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, his beloved grandchildren, and all his many relatives, great neighbours and great friends.

Reposing this evening, Friday, October 4 at Breslin’s Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran, eircode F94E92F from 4pm to 8pm, all welcome.

Removal from the Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 10am (via Main St. and East End, Bundoran) to arrive at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Rd, Cavan for Cremation Service at 12pm. (All welcome)

The death has taken place of Grace McKelvey, née McGarvey, peacefully at her home in Cruit Island, Kincasslagh (formerly of Gweedore Road, Dungloe), surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her loving husband Connie.

Loving mother to Patrick, Eamonn and Lisa and loving grandmother to Conor, Ryan, Molly, Cian, Oisin, Aoife, Finn, Oscar & Sonny.

Grace’s remains will repose at her family home, Gweedore Road, Dungloe, F94 F9P2 with rosary at 8pm.

Requiem Mass in St. Crona’s Church, Dungloe on Saturday morning, October 5 at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time, please, from 11pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

The peaceful death has occurred of Maeve Philomena Ryan née Greene of Magheralosk and Darlington in St Teresa’s Hospice, Darlington, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by parents Annie and Joseph, sister Anne, brothers; James, Denis and Patrick and granddaughter Aisling.

Sadly missed by her son Michael, daughters; Kathleen, Caroline, Charlene and Patsy, grandchildren; Dominic, Joe, Katie, Aibhilin, Zonya, Hannah, Rían, Caoimhe and Cillian, great grandchildren; Jay, Lola, Thomas and Maisie, sisters; Mary and Roseleen, brothers; Michael, Connie and Joe and nieces and nephews.

Her remains will repose at Roarty’s Funeral Home, Derrybeg, F92 DN4X, on Saturday, October 5 from 2pm until 6:45pm.

Removal from there to St. Mary’s Church, Derrybeg for Mass at 7pm to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday, October 6, at 1pm, with interment in Magheragallon cemetery.

Teresa Mc Clafferty (née Duggan) 40 Ballina, Falcarragh

The peaceful death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Teresa Mc Clafferty of 40 Ballina, Falcarragh and formerly of Tory Island surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, her parents Pádraig and Hannah, sisters Katie, Evelyn, Sarah, Mary, Brid and Gráinne.

Survived by her sons Ruairí, Dónal and Pádraig, daughters Hannah, Mary and Sarah, in-laws, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister Hannah, nieces, nephews and a circle of family and friends.

Removal from her late residence today, Friday, October 4 for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St Finian’s Church, Falcarragh F92 X302 with burial afterwards in Gortahork Cemetery.

Bridie (Nana) O’Donnell (née Gallagher) Middletown, Derrybeg

The death has taken place at Áras Gaoth Dobhair of Bridie (Nana) O’Donnell (Née Gallagher) of Middletown, Derrybeg.

Predeceased by her husband Danny and her daughters; Liz and Patricia.

Sadly missed by her daughters; Donna (Steve) and Noreen, sons; John (Agnes), Fr. Owen, Danny and Paul, her 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, sisters; Kathleen and Sarah, in-laws Connell, Robert and Diane.

Her remains will repose at her son in-law Connell’s home in Magheraclogher (F92 HX39) today, Friday from 11am-8pm with rosary at 8pm.

House private after the Rosary and on the morning of the Funeral.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 5 at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Derrybeg with interment afterwards in Magheragallon cemetery.

Maggie Ward (née Boyle) Mully, Glenties

The peaceful death has occurred of Maggie Ward (née Boyle), Mully, Glenties, at Donegal Community Hospital.

Maggie is predeceased by her loving husband Owen, her granddaughter Grace, her parents Maryanne and Johnny, her sisters, Mamie, Annie, Biddy, Sarah, Rosie, and brothers Peter, John, Barney, and Paddy.

Maggie was a loving mother to Seamus, Maureen, and John, grandmother to Owenie and Daniel, sister to Susan (Silverhill), Kitty (London), Eileen (Doncaster), and Gracie (Glenties).

Her Requiem Mass will take place in Holy Family Church, Edenfinfreagh, today Friday, October 4, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
