The death has occurred of Thomas Francis (Tommy) Curry, Breenagh, Glenswilly and formerly Coventry, England, suddenly at his late residence.

Predeceased by parents Peter and Maria (nee Crossan).

Deeply regretted by brothers, Patrick, Michael and Peter.

Fondly remembered by his good neighbours, extended family members and many friends.

Tommy’s remains will repose in the Eternal Light Chapel Of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny (F92 XE35) on Sunday, February 1 from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral Mass in St Columba’s Church, Glenswilly on Monday, February 2 at 11am, followed by interment in Kilpheak cemetery.

Jim Doherty, Clonmany

The peaceful death has occurred in Beach Hill Manor Nursing Home, Lisfannan, Buncrana of Jim Doherty (Pat), No 7 The Cottage’s, Cleagh, Clonmany and formerly of Cloontagh, Clonmany.

Predeceased by his parents Johnny and Sarah, sisters Lizzy and Bridget and brother Patrick.

Much loved brother of Kathleen, sadly missed by his brother in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and neighbours.

Jim’s remains will be reposing at St Collumbcille Oratory, Cleagh, Clonmany today from 3pm to 8pm, where you are welcome to pay your respects.

Funeral from the on Saturday morning at 10.40am going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for requiem Mass at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Ita Kernan, Newtowncunningham

Ita Kernan of Killester, Dublin, and late of Newtowncunningham, on January 28, in the loving care of the staff at the Sacred Heart Residence, Sybil Hill Road, Raheny.

Beloved sister of the late Frankie and Eileen.

Sadly missed by her loving sister Maureen, brothers Seamus and Anthony, sister-in-law Irene, her many loving nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Monday afternoon, Febraury 2 from 3pm to 5pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning, February 3 at 10am in St Brigid’s Church, Killester, followed by a Short Service in the Seafield Room at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral, Fairview Strand, Home at 12noon.

The death has occurred of Tom Lawne, Drummeny Upper, Donegal Town peacefully at home.

Predeceased by his wife Vera. Sadly missed by his loving, son’s Peter (Roberta) and James (Helen), daughter Mary (John) grandchildren Francis, Joseph and Maria nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Tom’s remains will repose at Tír Conaíll Funeral Home, Drumrooske, Donegal from 1pm until 6.30pm today with removal from funeral home to St Agatha’s Church, Clar for 7pm.

Tom’s requiem Mass will be in St Agatha’s Church, Clar at 11am on Saturday, January 31 with burial afterwards in adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only donations in lieu of flowers to Donegal Community Hospital patient comfort fund in memory of Tom.

Betty Loughlin, Cloghan

The peaceful death has taken place of Betty Loughlin (nee Gallagher) of Ballykerrigan, Cloghan at the Donegal Hospice.

Beloved wife of Eunan, much loved mother to sons Patrick (Samantha), Eunan (Rosie), Daughter Irene (Chris). Dearly loved grandmother to Darian, Ethan, Kaleb, David, Anita, Krystel and Amber.

Predeceased by her parents Tommy, Mary and her brother Martin. Survived by her sisters Bridie, Mary, Lena and Vera, Brothers Kevin and Tony.

Betty’s remains will repose at the family home in Ballykerrigan, Cloghan F93 RX8P today until 9pm.

Family time from outside reposing times and on the morning of the funeral.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, January 31 at 11am in the Church of Our Lady of Prepetual Succour, Glenfin with service of Interment afterwards in Cill Mhuire Cemetery, Glenfin.

Shuttle bus will operate from the Reelin Bar carpark F93 R821 from 5pm each evening.

The sudden death has taken place of Dylan McNamee, 22 St Bridget’s Crescent, Drumkeen.

Requiem Mass will take place in St Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen at 11am this morning, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary Ferry (née McGinley), Falcarragh

The death has taken place of Mary Ferry (née McGinley) of Derryreel, Falcarragh.

Much loved and sadly missed by her children Manus, Jim, Neil, Maggie, Katie, Noel, Mary, Bríd and Grace, her loving grandchildren and great grand children, daughters in law and son in law, her brother Noel and sister Catherine, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her loving husband Neil, brothers Paddy and Hughie, sisters Gracie and Maggie.

Her remains will be reposing at her late residence today from 11am to 10pm.

The death has occurred of Bridie Doherty (Jimmy Roe) (née O’Donnell), Killourt, Malin Head F93 N8W2.

Predeceased by her son Liam. Beloved wife of Willie and much loved mother of Marie (Adrian) and Patrick (Jennifer) and cherished granny of Ciaran, Aoife, Corey, Shay, Maisey, Jay, Liam, Owen and Brendan.

Predeceased by sisters and brothers and sadly missed by her brothers John and Tony, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Funeral from her late residence this morning at 11.30am for 12pm requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Malin Head followed by burial in Lagg cemetery.

Lawrence O’Toole, Killybegs

The death has taken place of Lawrence O’Toole of Finglas and Killybegs, in the loving care of his family and the Palliative Care Team of the Mater Hospital.

Lawrence, beloved son of the late Mary and Francis, loving brother of Brendan, Elizabeth, Mary, Rita and Bridget.

He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his brother and sisters, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Fanagan Funeral Home, Church Street, Finglas on Monday, February 2 from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal on Tuesday morning, February 3 to St Canice’s Church, Finglas arriving for 11am Requiem Mass followed by Cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium.

The family wish to sincerely thank the Carers especially Mary and Thomas from Finglas Home Care who were so kind and caring to Lawrence in recent years.

Joe McGee, Newtowncunningham

The death has taken place at his home on Tuesday, January 27 of Joe McGee, Ruskey, Newtowncunningham F93 WR1W.

Deeply missed by his loving wife Margaret, daughter Mary (Gary), sons Nigel (Ashling), Patrick (Louise) and Seamus (Caroline), grandchildren Conor, Gavin, Niamh, Mark, Rachel, Rónán, Reuben, Dean and Shane and great-grandchild Raya, brothers Cathal, James and Shaun, sister Gabrielle, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Joe is predeceased by his parents Neil and Margaret and his brother Eamonn.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mairead Lafferty, Rockhill, Portnablagh, Dunfanaghy.

Ms Lafferty passed away in Ard Gréine Court, Stranorlar on Tuesday, January 27.

Much loved and sadly missed by her sister Grainne and her brother in law James, nephews Kevin and Dermot (Liz) and extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her parents John and Sarah, brothers John and William and nephew Declan.

Kieran McGroary, Laghey

The death has occurred of Kieran McGroary, Laghey Barr, Laghey.

Mr McGroary passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 26.

Predeceased by his father Liam.

Funeral Mass this morning at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery in St Brigid’s Church Ballintra.
