The death has occurred in the Donegal Hospice of Paul Burns, 39 Crana View Buncrana.

Sadly missed by his wife Margaret, his children Kevin, Amanda and Sean, and his grandchildren Rachel, Sophie, Stephen, Roisin and Paul, and his wider family circle.

His remains are reposing at his residence currently.

Leaving there on Saturday morning at 10.15am for 11 o’clock Mass in St Mary’s Church, Cockhill.

Burial will take place in the adjoining graveyard.

House private from 9pm to 10am.

Roisin Panting, Carndonagh

The death has occurred at her home of Roisin Panting née McEleney, Gortnamara, Carndonagh.

Predeceased by her husband John, her son Paul and her son-in-law Eugene.

Roisin is a much-loved mother of Kevin and Alyson.

Roisin is deeply regretted by her grandchildren Daniel, Michael, James, Aileen, Ellen and Eamonn, and a loving great-grandmother to her 10 great-grandchildren.

Roisin will be missed by her daughter-in-law Louise, her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Funeral and wake arrangements are to be confirmed later.

Mae Wisely, Ballindrait

The death has taken place at her home of Mae Wisely Craig, Gortnagole, Ballindrait F93HX6K.

Predeceased by her husband Sam and granddaughter Joanne.

Mae will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons Norman, Alan (Olive), Lesley (Veronica), Peter and daughter Elizabeth (Joe), her seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Her remains will repose at her home today, Friday, January 2 from 12pm until 9pm.

Funeral leaving from her home on Saturday, January 3 at 1.30pm going to Ballindrait Presbyterian Church, for 2pm Service of Thanksgiving for her life, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Liam O’Hagan, Buncrana

The peaceful death has taken place of Liam O’Hagan, Old Mountain, Linsfort, Buncrana F93 A4E6.

Predeceased by his parents Pat and Bridget and his brother John.

Lovingly remembered by his sisters Mary, Sally and Bridie and nieces and nephews.

Liam’s remains will leave his late residence at 10.15am, on Friday, January 2, going to Star of the Sea Church, Desertegney for 11am requiem Mass, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary Therese Celine Patton, Convoy

The death has occurred of Mary Therese Celine Patton, Magheracorn, Convoy.

Ms Patton passed away at Brindley Manor Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 31.

Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Veronica, her siblings Margaret, Joseph (Josie), Agnes, Thomas, John (Johnny), Patrick (Patsy), Kathleen (Katie), Bridget (Bridie), Anne (Annie) and Freda. Mary will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law Denis, her nieces, Veronica and Denise, their families, and all her nieces and nephews and the extended Patton family.

Also her friend Greta and all her Lifford Hospital friends.

Her remains will repose at her late residence today, Friday from 4pm until 10pm. Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Funeral leaving from her home on Saturday, January 3 at 10.15am going to St Mary’s Church Convoy for 11am funeral Mass, followed by burial in the old graveyard.

House private please on the morning of the funeral please and family flowers only.

Gretta Alcorn, Dunfanaghy

The death has occurred of Gretta Alcorn (née Stewart), 14 New Cottage Road, Dunfanaghy.

Ms Alcorn passed away on Wednesday, December 31.

Beloved mother to Tracey and husband Gary, Geoffrey and partner Anna, grandchildren Eirinn, Sandy and Charley.

Predeceased by her loving husband Arthur (Gusty 2013).

Deeply loved and fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her home from today, Friday, January 2 from 12 noon until 10pm for family and close friends only please.

Funeral Service in Holy Trinity Church, Hornhead Road, Dunfanaghy, on Saturday, January 3 at 1pm.

Burial afterwards in Clondahorkey Cemetery.

Family time please from 10pm to 12 noon and on the morning of the funeral.

Bridie Marley (née Harkin)

The peaceful death as taken place of Bridie Marley nee (Harkin) of Cloghan Mór, Cloghan, F93 HK52.

Predeceased by her loving husband Patrick. Much loved Mother of Helen (Willie), Mary (Pete), Lavina (Terry), Patrica (Shaun), Joe (Carol) and Francie (Bernie).

Devoted Grandmother to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bridie will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends.

Bridie’s remains will repose at her home on Friday, January 2 from 12 noon to 9pm. Rosary at 9pm.

House private at all other times and on the morning of the funeral.

Removal on Saturday, January 3 to Church of Our Lady of Prepetual Succour Glenfin for Requiem Mass at 1pm.

Patrick (Packie) McConnellogue, Clonmany

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University of Patrick (Packie) McConnellogue, Annagh, Clonmany F93 NR76.

Son of the late Dan and Katie, dear brother of Danny, Margaret, Kathleen, Edith, and the late Bernadette and Mary.

Will be missed by his nieces and nephews.

Funeral leaving from there on Friday, January 2 at 10.20am, going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for requiem Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Paul Marley, Ramelton and formerly of Dooish, Ballybofey.

Mr Marley passed away at his residence on Tuesday, December 30.

Much loved father to Féile, Mollie, and Zoe, beloved son of Mollie and the late Paddy, and brother of Mary, Liam, Cathal, Maggie, Andrew, and Edel.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his daughters and their mother Cliona, mother Mollie, brothers, sisters, uncle Conal, auntie Kathleen, nieces, nephews, grandnephew, brothers in law, sisters in law, cousins and friends.

Funeral leaving the home of his mother Mollie Marley at Dooish, Ballybofey on Friday, January 2 at 12.30 pm for requiem Mass at 1pm in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Glenfin.

The death has occurred of May Logue, Drim, Cranford.

Ms Logue passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 31.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, Michael (Sally), Denise Taylor (Lee), Pauline Ellis (James), Shaun (Maria) and Anne (Dave), 14 grandchildren, sister Cella, brother Timothy, brother-in-law Paddy, sister-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Michael.

Ms Gallagher passed away peacefully in the Donegal Hospice on Wednesday, December 31.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, brothers Willie, Kevin, John and James, sisters Jean, Ann, Carmel, Geraldine, Jacqueline, Aloysia and Siobhán, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her daughter Ann Bernadette, husband Seamus McDevitt and her parents Billy and May.

Michael McGinley, Dublin and Dunfanaghy

The death has taken place of Michael McGinley, Rathfarnham, Dublin and formerly of Dunfanaghy.

He died peacefully at home on Sunday, in the loving care of his family.

Beloved husband of the late Julia (née Sheridan) and loving father of Paul, Mary, Karen, Michael and Suzanne.

Michael will be sadly missed by his family and in-laws, his grandchildren, Niamh, Killian and Maia, Niall, James, Meabh and Michael, Sean, Luke and Liam, his sisters, Marette and Kathleen, (predeceased by his brother, Brian and sister, Betty), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, January 2 at 1pm in Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham (D14 E803) followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery.

Dorothy Devaney, Fanad

The death has occurred of Dorothy Devaney, Ballyheirnan, Fanad and formerly Manchester, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband, John (2009), sister, Joyce Wilde and brother-in-law, Frank Wilde.

Deeply regretted by Sean and Teresa, her extended family, neighbours and many friends.

At the request of the deceased, a private cremation will take place.

On Saturday, January 3 at 1pm a Service of Thanksgiving will take place at Christ the Redeemer Church, Rossnakill, with burial of ashes afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
