Bernard Ward, Frosses

The death has occurred of Bernard Ward, Ballymacahill, Frosses.

Mr Ward passed away on Thursday, May 1.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Natasha; his son, David Ward; grandchildren, Kieran and Reece; his sisters, Rosemary (Al Krienke) and Ann (Tom Clarke); his brothers, James (Theresa) and Peter (Patricia); his niece and nephews; and his extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Remains will repose at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles, (F94 X02N) on Sunday, May 4 from 1pm until 5pm.

Removal from there on Monday, May 5, going to the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Frosses, for 12 noon funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to the Irish Heart Foundation C/O Gallagher Funeral Directors, Mountcharles.

Maureen Ward, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Maureen Ward (née Harrison), Cashellackan, The Acres, Ballyshannon.

Ms Ward passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 1.

She is predeceased by her loving husband Pat.

She will be sadly missed by her sons Noel (Chicago), John (Grange) and daughters Sandra, Linda, Angela and Deborah, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family circle, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the family home on Friday, May 2 from 5pm to 8pm and on Saturday, May 3 from 5pm to 8pm with the house private to family at all other times.

Removal from the family home on Sunday at 10pm to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11pm followed by service of interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery.

Donations, if so desired, to the Northwest Hospice, The Mall, Sligo c/o Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors or any family member.

Mary Small, Dublin and Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Mary Small (née Cassidy), of Santry, Dublin and formerly of Ballyshannon.

Ms Small passed away peacefully at home, cared and surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, April 30.

Beloved wife of the late John and dearly loved mother of Ger and the late Declan, adored Nana to John jnr, Catherine, Patrick, Caoimhe and Dearbhla and great- grandmother to Charlie.

Sadly missed by her family, daughter-in-law Andrea, son-in-law Ciaran, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Lanigan’s Funeral Home, 21 Beaumont Road on Friday, May 2 from 3pm to 5pm.

Removal on Saturday morning to Our Lady of Victories Church, Ballymun Road for Funeral Mass at 11.30am and afterwards to Glasnevin Crematorium for cremation at 1.30pm.

Rose Patton, Ballybofey

The death has occurred of Rose Patton (née Floyd), Trusk Road, Ballybofey.

Ms Patton passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, May 1.

Beloved wife of the late Jim, much loved mother to Kevin, Terence and Linda, cherished sister of Kevin, Agnes, and Christy. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughter, sister, grandchildren, Barry, Shauna, James, Laura, Evan, Zach, Zara, nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.

Remains reposing at her late residence on Friday, May 2 from 2pm and Saturday, May 3 from 12 noon, with rosary both nights at 9pm.

Funeral leaving her late residence on Sunday, May 4 at 1.40 pm for Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s church, Sessiaghoneill at 2pm.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Bríd Nic Giolla Bhríde, Annagry and Artane, Dublin

The death has occurred of Bríd Nic Giolla Bhríde, Whitethorn Park, Dublin and formerly of An Bun Beag/Anagaire, Dún nan Gall.

Ms Nic Giolla Bhríde passed away peacefully in St Francis Hospice Raheny, after a short illness, on Wednesday, April 30.

Deeply missed by her heartbroken sister, Freda, lifelong friend and cousin Rita, sister in law Anne, her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grandnephew, her many friends, neighbours and teaching colleagues.

Reposing at Strand View, Anagaire (F94V8D7) on Friday, May 2 from 5pm.

Rosary and prayers 9pm.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, May 3 at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Anagaire at 1pm with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

John McGinley (John Frank), Glencolmcille

The death has occurred of John McGinley (John Frank), Lougheraherk, Glemcolmcille.

Mr McGinley passed away peacefully in the Harbour Lights Nursing Home on Wednesday, April 30.

Pre-deceased by his parents James and Ellen and his brother Josie.

Sadly missed by his beloved sister Brigid, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am in St. Columba’s Church, Cashel, Glencolmcille with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Ellen Keogh, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Ellen Keogh, Currarevagh, Gortlee, Letterkenny.

Ms Kelly passed away at St Eunan’s Nursing Home in Letterkenny on Tuesday, April 29.

Sadly missed by her husband Patrick, sons Alan, Gary, Derek and Kenneth, grandchildren Rebecca and Candice.

Requiem Mass on Friday, May 2 at 10.30am in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium.

Benny Donaghey, Clonmany

The death has occurred of Benny Donaghey, Magheramore, Clonmany.

Mr Donaghey passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, April 30.

Beloved husband of Helen and much loved father of Brendan (Lucy), Ian (Jeanne), Kevin (Màire), Nichola (Damian) sadly missed by his grandchildren Ruairi, Lorcan, Molly, Niamh, Orla, Odhran, Oisín and Conall, deeply regretted by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and the wider family circle.

Funeral on Friday morning at 10.20am going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for requiem Mass at 11 o’clock, with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time please 11pm till 10am.

Aidan Carrig, Clare and Stranorlar

The death has occurred of Aidan Carrig, Stranorlar and Kilrush, Co Clare.

Mr Carrig passed away suddenly on Monday, April 28.

He is deeply regretted by his sons Aidan and Roman, his father Jo Jo and step-mother Connie, his mother Adrienne, brothers and sisters Joanne, Carmel, John, Joseph, Martin, Rebecca, Emily, Shauna and Adrienne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins and many friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Funeral arriving at St. Senan’s Church, Kilrush on Friday morning for 11am Mass.

Burial afterwards in All Saints Cemetery, Shanakyle.
