Linda Doherty, Coventry and Clonmany

The death has taken place in Coventry, England, after a short illness of Linda Doherty.

Linda passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, surrounded by her family.

Devoted wife to Danny Doherty (Urrismanagh, Clonmany). Loving mother to Paul, Andrew, Sally, Annette and Daniel.

Beloved mother-in-law to Katherine, Jenny, Ollie, Michael and Kerri.

Cherished grandmother to Alfie, Sadie, Sam, Evie, Mollie, Matthew, Elsie, Heidi and Grace.

Linda’s remains will arrive at Bridgend border on Saturday, March 7 at approximately 3.45pm, going to the family home, Urrismanagh, F93N8NR.

Funeral leaving from there on Monday at 10.40am, going to St Michael’s Church, Urris, for Requiem Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Dementia Research.

House private please from 10pm until 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Denis Donaghy, Moville 

The death has occurred of Denis Donaghy, Moville and formerly of Redcastle Cottages, suddenly at Altnagelvin Hospital.

Beloved son of Marjorie and Gerard (Snr), dear father of Jason, and much loved brother of Micheal (Karen), Gerard (Jnr), Martin (Kelly), Jo (Nick), Suibhain, Aisling (Seamus).

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his extended family circle, friends and neighbours.

Denis’s remains left Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh, F93 E4FN, this evening (Friday), going to the home of his parents, Marjorie and Gerard, 246 Redcastle Cottages, Redcastle, F93 Y440.

Funeral from there on Sunday (March 8) at 12.30pm for 1pm Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Drung, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time from 10pm to 11am.

Peter Friel, Milford

The peaceful death has taken place at his home, surrounded by his loving family, following an illness borne with great courage of Peter Friel, Loughross, Milford. Proprietor of Friel ATV Sales.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife, Tracy, adored children, Ella, Hannah, Farrah and Adam, loving parents, Patrick and Mary, brothers, Shaun and Andrew, sisters, Marie, Grace (Dessie) and Christine (Ryan), mother-in-law, Anne and Christopher, sister-in-law, Orla (Paddy), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his home on Friday, from 12 noon until 10pm.

Those attending the wake should park at Milford Mart Car Park and a bus will be provided from there.

Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am in St Peter’s Church, Milford.

Burial afterwards in Milford Cemetery.

Martina Doherty, Buncrana 

The death has taken place at her residence at St Columba’s Ave, Buncrana of Martina Doherty (Marty), née Murphy.

Loving wife of Jimmy and dear mother of Ciaran (Dena), James (Antoinnette), Peter (Bernie) and Brian (Caroline).

Predeceased by her infant daughters, Martina and Claire.

Grandmother of Molly and Pauric and dear sister of Shaun (Kathleen) and Peter (Tottsie RIP) Sadly missed by her loving husband and family, nieces, nephews, family circle and friends.

Remains reposing at her residence. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.30am going to St Mary’s Oratory for 10am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Cockhill Graveyard.

Tommy McFadden, Falcarragh

The sudden and unexpected death has taken place at the Blackrock Clinic Dublin of Tommy McFadden, Clonbara, Falcarragh.

Predeceased by his father Danny and father-in-law John. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, sons; Kevin (Francess), Ryan (Adele), daughter Adele, mother Mary Rose, mother-in-law Kitty, brothers; Danny (Grace) and Paul (Maureen), sister Madge, grandchildren; Callan, Odhrán, Cara, Eabha, Lennon and Bonnie, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at his home (F92 A9F9) on Friday from 11am to 9pm. Rosary at 9pm.

House private after Rosary and on the morning of the Funeral.

Tommy’s funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, March 7 at 1pm in St Finian’s Church, Falcarragh, interment afterwards in the adjacent cemetery.
