Patrick O’Donnell also known as Jock McDonald, Glenties and Rosbeg
The death has occurred of Patrick O’Donnell also known as Jock McDonald, founder and singer of The Bollock Brothers.
Mr O’Donnell, of Glenties and Rosbeg, tragically passed away in a sea incident in Bundoran on Saturday, July 26.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family: daughter Maria Devlin, sons Kilien O’Donnell and Benjamin Godhusen, brothers Gerry and Martin O’Donnell, and by his extended family, friends, and the wider music community.
Predeceased by his beloved mother Sarah O’Donnell (née Johnson) of Rosbeg and his father Patrick O’Donnell.
His remains will repose at Shovlins Funeral Home Sandfield, Ardara, Co.Donegal F94N923 on Friday afternoon, August 8 from 3.30pm to 4.45pm followed by removal to St Conal’s Church, Kilclooney travelling via Rosbeg, Portnoo arriving at 6pm.
Funeral Mass will take place at 11am on Saturday morning, August 9 with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Patrick’s funeral Mass will be livestreamed on Shovlins Funeral Home Facebook page.
All are welcome to join the family for refreshments afterwards at The Tavern, Portnoo, Kilclooney.
Martin Curran, Quigley’s Point
The death has occurred of Martin Curran, Crockglass, Quigley’s Point.
Mr Curran passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 7.
Beloved husband of Mavis and much-loved father of Neil, Maureen, Bernard, James and Shaun.
Predeceased by his son Columba, his parents Annie, and Bernard and his brother John.
Dear brother of Jimmy, Rose, Mary, Anna, and Bernadette.
A devoted grandfather to his five grandchildren Charlie, Ava, Oisín, Daithí and Colm.
Martin is deeply regretted by his daughter-in-law’s Kerry, Ciara and Clodagh, his son-in-law Jerry, his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Removal from Kelly’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh F93YE1C today, Friday at 2pm going to his late residence where a one-way system will be in operation.
Removal from there on Sunday at 12.20pm going to St Columba’s Church, Drung for 1pm funeral Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Susan Browne (née Mc Colgan), Ballyarl, Crossroads.
Ms Browne passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Thursday, August 7.
Beloved wife of the late Joe, much loved mother to Josie (Liam), Barry (Theresa), Charlotte, Don (Martina), Eva, and Tony, cherished sister of Eva and the late Peggy, Seamus, Donald, and Brendan.
Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters, sister, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces extended family neighbours, and friends.
Reposing at Mc Cool’s Funeral Home on Friday, August 8 and Saturday, August 9 from 3pm to 9pm.
Funeral leaving from her late residence on Sunday, August 10 at 12.20pm for requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon at 1pm.

Kathleen McGuinness, Sligo and Frosses
The death has occurred of Kathleen McGuinness (née McGlashin), Green Road, Sligo Town and Frosses, Donegal.
Ms McGuinness, who was a retired primary school teacher, passed away suddenly surrounded by her loving family at her home on Tuesday, August 5.
Predeceased by her infant daughter Grace and her parents Cecilia and Dominic McGlashin.
Beloved wife of Tommy and dear mother of Cecilia, Eamonn and Tomás.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, daughter, sons, son-in-law Francis Johnston, daughters-in-law Sharon and Emma, her adored grandchildren Ruth, Tom, Edward, Grace and Ruairí, sisters-in-law Susan Smith (New York), Rosaleen (Ardara) and Kathleen (Donegal Town), brothers-in-law Joe Nolan (New York) and Tommy Smith (New York), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr Garry passed away surrounded by his loving family in Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday, August 5.
Pre-deceased by his parents Roseann and Michael, his siblings Peter, Jim, Jack and Rosemary.
Much loved and hugely missed by all his family: wife Eileen (neé Conaghan), sons Paul & Liam, daughters Michelle & Martina, daughter-in-law Sinéad and sons-in-law Tommy and Garrett.

Ms Furey passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in the loving and compassionate care of Harbour Lights Nursing Home in Killybegs on Thursday, August 5.
Predeceased by her husband Edward, brothers Patrick and Micheal Hugh, sisters Rose and Bridget and son-in-law John.
Dearly loved mother of Maura (Patrick) and Patricia (John, RIP).

The death has occurred of Gerry Bennett, Clarlougheske, Donegal Town.
Mr Bennett passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 6.
Gerry’s remains will repose at his late residence on Friday, August 8 from 10am until 10pm.
Gerry’s remains will leave his late residence on Saturday, August 9 at 10.30am for 11am Mass in St Agatha’s Church Clar with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining graveyard.

Joe O’Donnell, Jersey and formerly Gortahork
The death has occurred of Joe O’Donnell, St Helier, Jersey, and formerly of Ardsmore, Gortahork.
He passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 26, aged 51.
Predeceased by his loving parents, Bernard and Gracie O’Donnell. Sadly missed by his brothers, David McNally and David O’Donnell, sisters, Julie and Marianne O’Donnell, his nieces and nephews, Fionn, Naincí, Gracie, Úna, Sally, Maureen, Daphne and Oscar, brothers and sister-in-law, Brian, John and Abi, extended family, neighbours, work colleagues and a wide circle of friends in Jersey and Donegal.
Remains will repose at Ardsmore, F92 E4H1 with wake commencing on Friday, August 15 at 12 noon with Rosary at 8pm. Private house after the Rosary.
Removal to Christ the King Church, Gort a’ Choirce F92 DP86 for requiem Mass on Saturday, August 16 at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery.
A shuttle bus will be available from An Stór, Gort a’ Choirce to attend the wake.
