The death has occurred of Gerrard Breslin, Glen Road, Carrick.
Mr Breslin, who was the former principal of Carrick Vocational School, passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Sligo University Hospital on Thursday, August 21.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Bridie, his daughter-in-law Fionnuala, his grandson Gary, his seven sisters and six brothers.
Gerry was a much loved father to Gary, Clare and Fiona, he will be sadly missed by his son-in-law David, adored grandad to Shona, Colm, Aisling, Dáire, Sinéad, Ailbhe, Harry, Eoin, Orlaith and Liam and a wide circle of family and friends.
His remains will be reposing in Shovlin’s Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara today, August 22 from 4pm to 7pm followed by private removal to his late residence in Carrick.
Reposing at his late residence on Saturday, August 23 from 12 noon to 8pm.
Removal to St. Columba’s Church, Carrick on Sunday, August 24, for funeral Mass at 2pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
House private on the morning of the Funeral please.

John G Kelly, Letterkenny
The death has occurred of John G Kelly, Bahai House, Oldtown, Letterkenny and formerly of Newmills.
Mr Kelly passed away peacefully in the Donegal Hospice under the wonderful care of the Hospice staff and surrounded by his loving family and friends after a short illness bravely borne on Wednesday, August 20.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving partner Ann (Carroll) and son Nathan.
Predeceased by his father Packie, mother Bridie, sister Teresa, aunts and uncles. Sorely missed by his brothers, sisters, godson A.J. (Tighe), nieces and nephews and the Kelly, Carroll and Gallagher families.
John will repose at the home of his sister in law Breege Carroll Gallagher, Greenhill, Letterkenny, F92 PY2W from 5pm until Saturday morning, leaving from there to go to Lakelands Crematorium for private cremation at 1pm.
Family time from 9pm until noon please.

Seamus Griffin, Cavan and Pettigo
The death has occurred of Seamus Griffin, Drumahurk, Butlersbridge, Cavan and formerly Pettigo.
Mr Griffin passed away peacefully at Cavan General Hospital in the loving care of his family on Wednesday, August 20.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Cathy, brother Noel and his sisters Maura and Mina.
Seamus will be very sadly missed by his loving family, Gerry (Bronagh), Jim (Patrina), Conor (Sara), Karl (Karen), John (Tracy) and Paul (Jenny), by his cherished grandchildren James, D.J., Millie, Toby, Rory, Darragh, Cara, Áine and Órla, sister Patricia, his nephews, nieces, all his extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Saturday evening from 5pm until 6pm.
Seamus’s remains will leave his home in Drumahurk on Sunday morning at 10.15 and will travel to St. Aidan’s Church, Butlersbridge, arriving for funeral Mass at 10.30 am.
Burial will take place afterwards in St. Aidan’s Cemetery, Butlersbridge.
Theresa Ferguson, Scotland and Glencolmcille
The death has occurred of Theresa Ferguson (née McGlynn), Ayr, Scotland and Malinmore, Glencolmcille.
Ms Ferguson passed away peacefully at the Ayrshire Hospice in Ayr surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 15.
Pre-deceased by her mother Margaret McGlynn (née Craig), her father John and her sister Mary.
Sadly missed by her husband Hugh, daughter Lynn, son Richard and grandchildren Robyn, Adam and Kit and nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral Mass will be held on September 4 at 10am in St. Margarets RC Church in Ayr followed by Ayr Crematorium.
Her final remains shall be taken to St. Columba’s Church, Cashel, Glencolmcille on Friday, September 12 where Mass will be held at 12 noon with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Dylan Ward, 30 Millrace Crescent, Donegal Town.
Mr Ward passed away suddenly surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, August 19.
Beloved son of Daniel and Fiona and brother to Leah.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandad Dom, his aunts, uncles, cousins and his large circle of friends.

The death has occurred of Tommy Lynch, 46 Ernedale Heights, Ballyshannon and formerly of Ballylongford, Co. Kerry.
He passed away peacefully on Monday in the gentle and exceptional care of the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at the Ballyshannon Community Hospital.
Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Dolan), Tommy will be sadly missed by his children, Ciarán and Sinéad, daughter-in-law, Tara, son-in-law, Jason, his grandchildren, Evan, Oran, Anna and Ronan, brother, Michael (New York), sisters-in-law, Norann Lynch and Anna Dolan, brothers-in-law, Eddie Mangan, Martin and Eugene Dolan, nephews, nieces, close relatives and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Lynch, his brothers, John and Donal and sister, Mary B and the deceased members of the Lynch and Dolan families.
