THE death has been announced of well known Letterkenny businessman Paul Reynolds.
Mr Reynolds, who received the Hall of Fame Award at the 2018 Letterkenny Chamber Business Award, is the proprietor of Property Partners Paul Reynolds – a long established and leading firm of Auctioneers, Estate Agents and Valuers – he runs the business with his younger brother Joe, and family.
A native of Mohill in County Leitrim, Paul Reynolds first arrived in Letterkenny in early September 1975. He had planned to only stay for six months before taking up a post in Dublin but, forty-six years later, he was still here.
Married to Marie (nee Kennedy from Ballybofey), the couple have five children Karen, Austin, Kristine, Lauren and David.
“I must say that Donegal and Letterkenny have been very good to me. This is my adopted home but I have been welcomed with open arms ever since I first came here and I’m so thankful to have enjoyed the support of both the local community and my family,” he said in an interview in the Donegal News after winning the Hall of Fame Award two years ago.
Funeral from his late residence tomorrow morning, Thursday, going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine, Letterkenny, for 11am Requiem Mass which will be celebrated by Fr Brian Quinn, Adm., with interment afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.

Funeral cortège will travel through the Main Street, Letterkenny.
