Peter McClintock, Raphoe

The death has occurred of Peter McClintock, no.1 Beechwood Avenue, Raphoe.

Mr McClintock passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 18.

Mr McClintock will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his fiancée Roisin, mother Betty, son Kieran (Margaret), brothers William (Charlene), David (Sandra), sisters Mary (Derek), June (Ed), grandchildren Daniel and Anna Rose, nieces, nephews and wider family circle.

His remains will repose at his home from 7pm this evening, Monday, August 19.

Funeral service at his home on Wednesday, August 21 at 2pm followed by burial in Ballindrait Presbyterian Church graveyard.

Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to the cancer care centre Letterkenny care of any family member or Terence McClintock funeral director.

Family time please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Karl O’Donnell, Glasgow and Portnoo

The death has occurred of Karl O’Donnell, Motherwell, Glasgow and formerly Cashelgolan Clooney, Portnoo.

Mr O’Donnell passed away on Tuesday, August 6.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Gillian and son Jude, mother Monica, father Michael (Susan), brother Declan (Sue) and sisters Geraldine (Johnny), Gemma and Tracey, all his nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, extended family and friends.

Mr O’Donnell’s remains will repose at his home in Motherwell, Glasgow on Thursday, August 22.

Funeral Mass on Friday, August 23 at 9.30am in St. John Bosco’s Catholic Church, 91 Jerviston Street, New Stevenston, Motherwell, Glasgow, followed by Cremation in Holytown Crematorium, Motherwell.

Karl’s Ashes will repose in St. Connells Church Glenties on Sunday, September 8 for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Liam Begley, Milford

The death has occurred of Liam Begley, Glenalla, Milford.

Mr Begley passed away suddenly on Friday, August 16.

He is sadly missed by his loving mother Mary, sisters Noreen, Ann, Pauline and Deirdre, brothers Neil and Mark, brother in-law Philip, sisters-in-law Naomi and Mairead, nieces Emma and Maggie, nephews Christopher, Jack, Dáire and Charlie, uncles, aunts, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Mr Begley is predeceased by his father Willie.

His remains be reposing at his home from 6pm today, Monday August 19.

Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday, August, 21 at 11am in St Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan followed by burial in Rathmullan Cemetery.

Family time on the morning of the funeral.

 Terry McGlade (née Walsh), Portnablagh

The death has occurred of Terry McGlade (née Walsh) late of Port-na-Blagh, Belfast, Cork, Dublin and Marble Hill.

Ms McGlade passed away on Sunday, August 18.

Beloved wife of the late Bernard and will be sadly missed by her children, Dermot, Anne, Barney, Afric, Nina, Mary, Catherine, John, Elizabeth, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.

Ms McGlade will be waked at Rock Cottage, Parkmore, Port-na-Blagh today, Monday, August 19 from 12 noon to 9pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, August 20 at Holy Cross Church, Dunfanaghy at 12 noon, followed by burial at Doe Cemetery, Creeslough.

Family time on the morning of the funeral.

Seamus McDermott, Gleneely

The sudden death has taken place of Seamus McDermott, Leitrim, Gleneely.

Mr McDermott passed away on Friday, August 16.

Beloved husband of Kathleen and much loved father of Bernie, John Paul (Sarah), Michael (Maedhbh), Geraldine, and Tina (Nathan), a devoted grandfather of Jamie, Lorcán, Luke and Fíadh.

He is deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Mr McDermott’s remains are now reposing at his home where you are all welcome to pay your respects.

Rosary at 9pm.

Funeral from there at 11.15pm on Tuesday, August 20, for 12pm Funeral Mass in St Mary’s Church, Bocan, followed by burial in Bocan Graveyard.

Anthony McGlynn, Cloghan

The death has occurred of Anthony Mc Glynn, Ardlaghan, Cloghan.

Mr McGlynn passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 16.

Beloved husband of Grace and much loved father of Patrick, Conal (Imelda) and the late Cathal; his grandchildren, Mathew and Dylan.

Cherished brother of Mary Prendergast and her husband Joe; his nephew Anthony Melbourne, Australia.

Requiem Mass took place today, Monday, August 19 at 11am in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual, Succour, Glenfin with interment afterwards in Cill Mhuire Cemetery.

Maud Kenny (née Browne), Roscommon and Falcarragh

The death has occurred of Maud Kenny, née Browne, Castleteehan, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Falcarragh.

Ms Kenny passed away peacefully at the North West Hospice, Sligo surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 16.

She is predeceased by her husband John, parents William and Sarah, sisters Margaret and Nora and her brothers Patrick and Francis.

Ms Kenny is deeply missed by her cherished family  Michael (Cloontrask), Martin (Ballyhaunis), Margaret (O’Connor, Limerick), Maureen (Healy, Frenchpark), Gerry (Castleteehan) and Sean (Castleteehan), sisters Celine (Donegal), and Mary (Scotland), grandsons Mark, Paul, Sean, Conor, Daniel, Oisin and Oran, daughter-in-law Anne, Sean’s partner Michelle, sons-in-law Patsy and Joe, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Her remains will be reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, Castlerea from 5pm – 7pm this evening, Monday, August 19.

Funeral arriving at St. Paul’s Church, Kilmurray, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am tomorrow, Tuesday, August 20 followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castlerea.

Kevin Daly, Fahan

The death has occurred of Kevin Daly, Fort view, Fahan.

Mr Daly passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 17.

He is predeceased by his loving son Gavin, brother Raymond and mother Kathleen.

He is sorely missed and loved by his loving wife Isabella, sons Aaron and Ruari, daughter Katie Louise, brother Brian, wider family circle and friends.

Funeral mass will take place today at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s church, Pennyburn, Buncranna Road, Derry, with burial afterwards in St. Marus cemetery, Fahan.

 Donnachadh Mc Garvey, Derrybeg

The sudden death has taken place at his home of Donnachadh Mc Garvey, Corveen, Derrybeg.

Mr McGarvey is predeceased by his parents Ned and Máire, sisters Méabha (Ripperger), Bella (Sanzone), Máire (Coyle) and his brother Joe Coll.

He is sadly missed by his sister Gracie Rennix (Cavan), brother-in-law Micheal Coyle (Ardsbeg), nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.

Funeral Mass took place this morning, Monday, August 19, at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Derrybeg with interment afterwards in Magheragallon Cemetery.

Jean Cole (née Quinn), Raphoe

The death has taken place of Jean Cole née Quinn, 14 Meadow Hill, Raphoe.

Ms Cole passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Friday, August 16.

She is missed by her loving husband Jackie, daughters Ann and Jacqueline, son John and wife Sinead, grandchildren Samantha and husband Garry, Debbie, Noah and Jake, great-grandchildren Stephaine, Jack, Tyler and Garry, brother Danny and sister Celine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Ms Cole’s Requiem Mass took place this morning, Monday, August 19 at St. Eunan’s Church, Raphoe with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Margaret Cavanagh (née McLaughlin), Greencastle

The death has taken place of Margaret Cavanagh (Neé McLaughlin), The Cairn, Drumaweir, Greencastle.

Ms Cavanagh passed away at her home following a long illness on Friday, August 16.

She is predeceased by her brothers Eamonn and Andrew.

Beloved wife of Patsy and much loved mother of Cathal, Claire, Shauna and Tricia, devoted nana of Caoimhe, Keenan, Callum, Billy, Amy, Dáire, Jamie, Ruairí, Pádraic and Grace.

She is deeply regretted and sadly missed by her Son’s in Law, William, Colm and Ronan, her Brother Michael, her Sisters Sadie, Ann Marie, Therese, Caroline and Josephine, her Nieces and Nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Funeral Mass took place this morning, Monday, August 19 at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Ballybrack followed by burial in Ballybrack Graveyard.
