Donegal County Council has awarded the construction contract for a significant social housing project at Chapel Road, Dungloe.
Following a competitive tendering process, the contract has been secured by Ballybofey-based John O’Donnell Construction Ltd.
The new development will consist of 43 housing units, designed by the Council’s in-house architectural team.
This project has been met with widespread approval, as it promises to provide much-needed homes for 43 families in the west-Donegal area.
The housing scheme will feature a diverse range of units, from 1-bedroom apartments to larger 4-bedroom houses, ensuring a mix of accommodation options for a variety of family sizes.
The development is a key part of Donegal County Council’s ongoing efforts to enhance social housing provision and support communities across the county.
Construction on the Chapel Road project is expected to commence shortly.
