An Ascension Day Service of Holy Communion at Royal and Prior Comprehensive School, in Raphoe, at 7.30pm on Thursday, May 30, will be the final event in Bishop Ken Good’s 17 years of ministry in the Diocese of Derry and Raphoe.
The Bishop will preside at the Service and his brother-in-law, Bishop Ken Clarke, will be the preacher. Parishioners from throughout the Diocese and members of the wider public have been invited to attend, although admission will be by ticket only.
“We anticipate that a large number of clergy will take part in the Service. All participating clergy and diocesan readers have been asked to robe for the occasion,” said a spokesperson.
