GARDAÍ are investigating an incident of criminal damage after a car was set alight in Lifford.
The car was parked at premises in the area of Toberoneill, Ballindrait, when the incident occurred on Sunday, December 14 between 7.40pm and 7.55pm.
The fire brigade attended the scene and extinguished the fire, and no-one was hurt in the incident.
Gardaí are appealing for dash cam footage in the wake of the incident.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have been in that area with a dash-cam between 7.30pm and 8pm to make the footage available to us. We are particularly interested in hearing about any sightings of a group of men on foot in the area. Gardaí may be contacted in Letterkenny on (074) 9167100 with relevant information.
