Rathmullan Celtic have confirmed Chris Cunningham as their manager.
The club held their AGM on Tuesday evening and Cunningham was confirmed as the new boss.
A club statement read: “Chris brings enthusiasm, experience and a strong vision for the team, and he has added long-standing Hoops stalwart Enda Sheridan as his assistant manager for the new season.”
The 2024/25 season was a trying one for the Seasiders as they were relegated from the Donegal Junior League Premier Division.
Eamonn Sheridan stepped down as manager just before the season and while Eoin Sheridan and Terence McCauley stepped in, it proved to be a really challenging campaign.
Rathmullan will operate in the Temple Domestic Appliances Division One league next term, and Cunningham will be aiming to get a good squad gathered and start the campaign strongly.
Lifford Celtic have also confirmed a new management team.
They were relegated to the Donegal Physiotherapy & Performance Centre Division Two last season but are keen to get things back on track.
Lifford posted on social media saying: Going into the 2025/26 season there has been a change in the dressing room. Lee White has accepted the position to lead the team along with Shane “Rua” McMonagle the current U18s team coach and past manager Daniel “Square” McNulty. Lee and Daniel have link well before and gained promotion two seasons ago while Rua has an abundance of talent in the U18s ready to step up and play senior football. With Lee and Square’s experience in the senior management role before and Rua’s strong relationship with the youths this only makes sense and brings an exciting new chapter to Lifford Celtic.”
The Greenbrae clubs are busy making signings ahead of the new season with Shane McNulty, Niall O’Reilly, Jack Mahon, Karl Friel, Daniel Lindsay, and Sean Ferry all committing for the new season.
