Cunningham content as Magheragallon trip looms

IT has been a mixed start to the season for Kilcar but team manager Conor Cunningham feels things are starting to come together.

The Towney men were Division 1 champions last season but they have already lost two and drawn one of their opening six matches in 2023.

They received a walkover against Bundoran before beating Cloughaneely at home, and last week, they edged out Naomh Conaill by a point with Matthew McClean showing no ill effects of his long lay-off by landing the winning point.

Cunningham feels they are moving in the right direction but Gaoth Dobhair will put that theory to the test on Saturday when the sides meet at 5.30pm in Magheragallon.
