Cullen hoping for some luck in FAI Cup battle

COCKHILL Celtic boss Gavin Cullen knows his side are up against it in the FAI Cup First Round but he is hoping with a bit of luck they can prevail.

Cockhill were paired with First Division side Bray Wanderers in the first round of the cup but they have home advantage as they welcome the Wicklow club to the Charlie O’Donnell Sports Ground on Saturday.

“We were delighted to get a home draw,” Cullen told the Donegal News.

“In any cup competition a home draw is important and especially in this competition when you get senior opposition, it’s good for the home fans to go and see them.”
