Cruel blow for Eoghan ‘Ban’ and Donegal

Donegal have received a huge injury blow with news that Eoghan ‘Ban’ Gallagher picked up a serious leg injury at training on Wednesday night.

There has been no official confirmation and the scale of the injury is not known, but the Killybegs star is expected to be out long term.

Gallagher has developed into one of Donegal’s most important players, and his powerful runs up the field have been a key part of their game plan.

However, it now appears that they will have to do without him for Sunday’s Super 8s match with Kerry.
