Setanta 2-12 St Eunan’s 0-13
JOSH Cronolly McGee landed two late goals as Setanta got the better of St Eunan’s in the Donegal Senior Hurling Championship Final this evening.
The sides were level at five points apiece at half-time.
St Eunan’s pushed ahead in the third quarter with Brian MacIntyre and Cathal O’Brien doing the heavy lifting.
Gerry Gilmore then landed four successive frees to level matters before Josh Cronolly McGee nudged Setanta ahead.
Cathal O’Brien equalised before Cronolly McGee rattled the net in the 59th minute for Setanta.
O’Brien and Ruairi Campbell swapped points after that before Cronolly McGee sealed the win in the 63rd minute with his second major.
