CRERAND, Liam

CRERAND – The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Liam Crerand, 23 Ashlawn, Letterkenny, retired Customs Officer. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Eithne (née McDonagh, Oldcastle, Co. Meath.). Devoted father of Audrey McConnell (Derry), Carol Anne Quinn (Woodlands), Sinead Houtsma (Lisnenan) and Ronan (Sligo).

Deeply regretted by sisters Rev. Sr. Perpetua Crerand, Presentation Sisters (Matlock, Derbyshire, UK) and Clare O’Reilly (New Ross) sons-in-law Martin, John and Paul and daughter-in-law Carol, grandchildren, relatives, in-laws neighbours and friends.

Liam’s remains will repose at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny from 3 pm today, 22nd November, with removal at 4 pm going to his late residence, (23, Ashlawn) to repose. Funeral from there on Saturday, 24th November, going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine, Letterkenny for 11 am Requiem Mass followed by interment in Conwal Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired, to The Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital, c/o Paschal Blake, Funeral Director, Stoney Arch, New Line Road, Letterkenny.

Family time please from 10 pm to 11 am and on the morning of the funeral.
