DONEGAL could have it first crematorium after major plans for the facility were lodged.
Applicant Michael Morning is seeking to provide a crematorium within his proposed funeral home at Carnamuggagh, Letterkenny, which was granted planning permission in August.

If the development is given the green light by the planning authority it will mean that people from Donegal will no longer have to make the lengthy journey to Lakelands Crematorium in Cavan or Roselawn in Belfast to have the remains of their loved ones cremated.
