Creeslough girl vies for Miss Ireland title

This week’s newly crowned Miss SEAT 2011, Roisin McConway from Creeslough said couldn’t believe it when she was crowned the winner after beating off stiff competition through a public vote on the company’s Facebook page.

The daughter of Gerard and Bernie McConway was speaking after travelling home from a busy day on Wednesday working on a photo shoot with top model Nadia Forde in Dublin.

“It hasn’t really sunk in yet that I have won the title. I was judging the Kildarragh Fair Rose competition at home last night (Tuesday) and this morning I was off to Dublin at 5.30am for a photo shoot.

“It was really nice to meet Nadia (Forde) at the shoot, she gave me a lot of advice and told me to just be myself in the Miss Ireland competition.
