THE funeral of the Donegal man who died in a road traffic accident last month in Australia is set to take place tomorrow, December 17.
Requiem mass is due to take place at 1pm in Christ the King Church, Gortahork, with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery.
His remains will repose at his family home from 11am today (Friday), December 16.
Rory Greene, a 41-year-old father of three originally from Ardsbeg, Gortahork had been living in the Brisbane area for the last few years.
He died on Wednesday, November 30.
He is survived by his wife Frances, his three children Mary-Kate, Ruán and Íona, his parents, Bernard and Dorothy, his three sisters Patricia, Cairtríona and Bríd- Siobhán, his four brothers Bernard, Ciarán, Stephen and Feargal, nieces, nephews, in laws, aunts, uncles and a large circle of family and friends.
The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, a charity that has helped bring the bodies of more than 1,300 people who have died overseas back to Ireland over the last decade, are helped to repatriate the body.
