STAFF, students and families attended a wonderful Christmas Craft Fair hosted by Loreto Community School in Milford.
The craft fair was organised by Transition Year students participating in the Mini Company Business module with help from the Business Department. Over 60 students participated.
All of the school’s students had an opportunity to visit the fair, held in the gym, to get into the festive spirit.
The public, parents and pupils from Scoil Mhuire NS in Milford were also invited to attend.
Students were able to display their creativity and keep their earnings from the day. There was a great atmosphere with Christmas music and a flash mob dance performed by Transition Year students.
From football jerseys to waffles, professional art to Christmas presents, there was something for everyone at the craft fair.
Described as “lovely” by teachers, “impressive” by visitors and “stressful” by those participating. The day was a huge success for all involved.
