A MAN and a woman who were found in a car at Loughros Point, Ardara on Sunday afternoon were still being treated at Letterkenny General Hospital yesterday (Thursday).
GardaÍ received a call from a concerned member of the public at around 3.45 pm on Sunday about two people in a car at Doirlín Beach.
When gardaí arrived the scene, they called for an ambulance and both individuals, who are believed to be from Northern Ireland, were rushed to Letterkenny General Hospital (LGH). One of the individuals was conscious and the other was unconscious.
When contacted yesterday, a spokesman for Glenties Garda Station declined to comment on the case only to confirm that the couple were still being treated at LGH.
