LISA McHugh has already proven herself on stage as a polished performer and on the small screen through her TV show and now she is taking over the airwaves as part of of Highland Radio’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The Glasgow native gets behind the decks for a week-long daily radio show on one of Ireland’s most listened radio stations starting Monday afternoon.
Next week, Highland Radio in Donegal opens it airways to the Fermanagh-based beauty as she becomes a Country DJ for a week.
Lisa replaces Gary Gamble on the regional station’s prime time 1.30 to 3.30pm slot each day and her show will include a blend of Irish and American Country music along with lots of chat, competitions and requests.
The former popular ‘Country Girl’ Donegal News on Monday columnist is not only the ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ in Ireland, but she has also been commissioned by Irish TV.
With her charm and witty personality, which she has used in abundance, Lisa has become one of the channel’s most popular TV presenters, hosting On The Road With Lisa, which will return for a second season this year, due to popular demand.
