Council set to tackle cyber-attack threats

DONEGAL County Council is set to invest in new technology as well as employing additional specialist cyber security personnel in a bid to lessen the threat of cyber-attacks.

The importance of the need to have sufficient measures in place to counter any cyber attacks has been highlighted by senior council officials, including Director of Finance, Richard Gibson, and details of plans for the coming year were included in the recently passed local authority budget.
