Council removes 45 tonnes of waste from illegal dump

A clearance operation was carried out at this site in Glashagh, Brinaleck.

The area has been known as a magnet for fly-tippers in recent times and while Donegal County Council would not confirm if it was investigating anyone over the illegal dumping, a spokesperson did say that in recent years individuals have received fixed penalty notices for dumping at the site.

The clear up begins.
