A meeting of the Donegal County Council has been adjourned for 39 minutes in a tribute to the late former Councillor Séamus Rodgers.
Séamus who dedicated 39 years representing the people of west Donegal was laid to rest on Saturday morning in his home town of Annagry.
As well as a politician he was also a stalwart supporter of CLG Naomh Mhuire since it’s inception, the council chamber heard.
Sitting councillors also paid their respects to Mr Rodger’s family during the meeting in the County House, Lifford this morning.
