DONEGAL County Council is hosting a joint public consultation event in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel tomorrow.
The public is being invited to attend the event from 3pm to 8pm to review a number of plans. These include the County Development Plan 2018-2024; the Buncrana Local Area Plan; the Proposed Variation in respect of A Wind Energy Policy Framework for the County Development Plan 2018-2024 (as varied); the Draft Preliminary Design of the proposed new Buncrana Leisure Centre; and the ‘Re-Powering’ Buncrana regeneration project.
“This event will provide the opportunity for the public to comment and make submissions on areas of interest and concern to then be considered during the preparation of the said plans and the further development of the said projects,” said a spokesperson for the Council.
“Relevant project information and plans will be on display during the event and members of the respective Council and associated design teams will be present to answer any questions and give additional information. Pre-appointment is not necessary and everyone is welcome.”
An informal drop in event will be held from 3pm to 7pm and then from 7pm to 8pm there will be a formal address by the Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council Cllr. Jack Murray and formal presentations.
