Coulter looking to kick on after ‘strong start’

A SCRAPPY last-gasp victory proved to be the catalyst for an excellent season for the Donegal hurlers in 2020, and Declan Coulter is hoping the same will be true for the current campaign.

Donegal made somewhat of a slow start to the league last year, but Danny Cullen’s goal in the dying seconds against Louth in Darver got them back on track, and they went on to win promotion in the league, and later secured the Nickey Rackard Cup.

The team have designs on another good campaign in 2021, but it looked like they were going to lose to Roscommon last Sunday as they were three points in arrears heading into injury-time.
