KEVIN ‘Cookie’ Gallagher believes his team are good enough to play in the Intermediate Championship but the only way to get there is by winning the Junior crown.
Downings played in Division 2 of the league this year, and their footballers want to be at that level.
They have good young players who have lined out for the Donegal representative teams in underage football, and the future looks bright.
