Convoy survive late penalty scare against Moville

St. Mary’s, Convoy survived a late penalty scare against unbeaten Moville to take their second win in the Yes Chef Division 3.

Convoy led by 1-9 to 0-5 at half-time with the help of a Pauric Gordon goal, along with three points from Paddy Dolan and two from Anthony Browne.

The Naomh Mhuire side were up by ten points with 20 minutes to go before Moville used their bench and the fresh legs gave them a chance.

Danny Murphy came off the bench and scored a great goal as the visitors hit 1-5 to 0-1 coming into added time and with three points in it, Moville were awarded a penalty.
