DONEGAL-BASED singer Patricia Morris will be performing material from her new CD at a concert at the Alley Theatre, Strabane next Friday at 8pm.
The new release, “Between New Year and Valentine,” brilliantly showcases her warm, bluesy voice, sincerity of delivery and easy
performance style which has drawn a dedicated fan base in the short period since she began her professional career.
From Glasgow, but a long-time resident of Convoy, Patricia draws on a wide base of Scots, Irish and American folk music including country, blues and jazz.
An award-winning poet she has huge strengths as a lyricist and composer.
She has co-written with Boo Hewerdine who has written for Eddi Reader, Natalie Imbruglia and many others.
Currently working with a core group of hugely talented musicians in the north west, she is beginning a short series of concerts in relaxed, intimate venues.
