Concert to help Save St Mura’s Cross, Fahan

THE fabulously talented and internationally renowned, Donegal-born musicians Ciaran Tourish, Dermot Byrne (formerly Altan) and singer/songwriter Kevin Doherty take to the stage in Buncrana on Saturday night to help save a unique part of local heritage.

The concert in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel begins at 8.30 pm on Saturday night, November 16 and tickets are already selling well from the hotel and other outlets locally.

Ciaran, whose mother is from Fahan explained he was more than happy to help raise much-needed funds to help conserve St Mura’s Cross in Fahan old graveyard.
“There are few places with such a rich preserved history as in Fahan. I think it is so important that we all do what we can to help ensures its future for the generations to come,” he added.
