Councillor Alcorn (FF) is the most recent target of this avenging “concerned taxpayer” who has gone to great trouble to obtain and analyse information from both the local authority and Udaras na Gaeltachta. Some of the claims date from 2006.
Other sitting and former councillors who have been accused of making such claims in a similar format, are former councillor, now Senator, Brian Ó Domhnaill, Cllr Dessie Larkin and Cllr Padraig O’Doherty.
Senator Ó Domhnaill’s case is with the Standards in Public Office (SIPO) Commission with a report expected from them this Monday.
