COMPETITION: Free professional audio and video recording on Culture Night

ESPECIALLY for Culture Night, Friday, September 19, and in association the Regional Cultural Centre, The Donegal News and Donegal County Council Arts Service, DNK Music and Sound Production DNK Music and Sound Production will set up their state-of-the-art mobile sound and video recording facility in the Auditorium of the Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny.

Four acts, performing one original composition each, will be recorded, free of charge, on the night with live sound and on video.

Recorded acts will receive their professionally synchronised and edited music video within two weeks of the recording which they may then upload to their Facebook page, Youtube or to music industry promotional sites such as www.breakingtunes.com etc.

Performers wishing to be considered for the DNK Culture Night Letterkenny Recording Sessions are invited to send a demo recording, on CD or DVD, featuring at least two of their own original compositions – plus biog and contact details – to Culture Night Letterkenny DNK Recording Sessions, c/o Donegal County Council Arts Service, Donegal County Library, Rosemount Lane, Letterkenny on or before Friday, September 5.

The invitation is issued to Donegal-based solo performers and bands in any musical genre. The four acts will be selected by a panel of representatives of the Regional Cultural Centre, The Donegal News and Donegal County Council Arts Service.

DNK Music and Sound Production are a Letterkeny-based company specialising in mobile sound and video recording technology which can be set up in a location of choice – festivals, venues and even in people’s homes.

The mobile studio has all the recording facilities of a conventional static studio including a 16 channel analogue studio desk, sound proof panelling and a drum booth.
