A LETTERKENNY community meeting is set to take place on Monday, May 8, in the Letterkenny Community Centre at 8pm. In attendance will be Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue T.D., Cllr. Ciaran Brogan, Cllr. Donal ‘Mandy’ Kelly, Cllr. Donal Coyle and Senator Niall Blaney.
Key points being discussed on the night include the Letterkenny 2040 Regeneration, the Defective Concrete Blocks Scheme, progress on new 110 beds Community Hospital, an update on the Bonagee link and Ten T projects, the School Building Projects and the progress of the seven storey Alpha Innovation Enterprise Centre. A questions and answers session will follow.
Speaking ahead of the meeting, Cllr. Donal ‘Mandy’ Kelly said he encourages any member of the public that wants to come along to do so.
“This is not a party meeting, it is open to the entire community of Letterkenny. I would encourage each and every person to come out if they want to be updated on this information or if they have any further questions that they need answered, we will do our best on the night,” he said.
Hoping to see a big crowd in attendance, Cllr Kelly said it is important for people to be updated on all the good news stories that are happening within the municipal district and within Letterkenny town. This upcoming Letterkenny community meeting is one of a series of meetings organised by Minister Charlie McConalogue in a bid to give the public an opportunity to get answers to any queries they may have about their local area.
