Donegal underage stars Peadar Mogan and Niall O’Donnell have been awarded Ulster Colleges All Stars, after impressing at trials in recent weeks.
Every school in the province was asked to send forward players for the trial games, which were held in Cookstown last week, with a final trial taking place in Belfast on Wednesday night.
Abbey Vocational School student Mogan has had a terrific 2016, after starring for the Donegal minors during the summer as they won the Ulster Minor Championship title.
O’Donnell was also part of that team, and he becomes the eighth student from St Eunan’s College to pick up a prestigous All Star. Sean Mc Ewen, Hugh Kerr, Mark McGowan, Michael Murphy, Ciaran Cannon, Sean Patton and Cormac Callaghan have been recognised at this level.
Mogan will play for the county minors again next year, while O’Donnell will be part of Declan Bonner’s Under 21 squad.
