College Farm Road apartment application withdrawn

A GRANT of planning sought to build eight two-bed apartments at a site on College Farm Road in Letterkenny has been withdrawn by the developer PJ McDermott.

A number of residents in the area had lodged objections to the Burt based developer’s plans, citing the fact the proposal was too dense by comparison to other single houses per plot.

According to Donegal County Council’s planning website the application was to have been decided on, on September 27. However, it was withdrawn by Patrick Canning Planning Services in Manor on behalf of the developer on September 12.

In an email to planners Mr Canning stated that “after consultation with that applicant [PJ McDermott], I Patrick Canning would like to withdraw the planning application ref number 25/50605, with a view to setting up a pre-planning meeting to discuss a new application for this site. Please find pre-planning documents”.
