STUDENTS and staff from Coláiste Ailigh were delighted to receive a visit from the Mayor of Rudolstadt in Germany, Jörg Reichl.
Mr Reichl meet with Coláiste Ailigh principal Seán Mac Suibhne, together they discussed the similarities between both towns – Rudolstadt and Letterkenny.
They also chatted about both education systems and the opportunities provided by close collaboration between Coláiste Ailigh and the Schillerschule in Rudolstadt.
Coláiste Ailigh then welcomed ten students from the Schillerschule on Tuesday afternoon and they stayed with them until yesterday (Sunday).
During their visit the students from Rudolstadt enjoyed exploring Donegal and were kept busy with many
exciting excursions and activities such as surfing on Maghera Beach.
