A COFFEE morning in aid of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind Donegal Branch organised by Seamus Gibson has raised €1,472 for the very worthy cause.
The coffee morning was held in Atlantic Technological University campus on April 9 at O’Hehirs cafeteria, where Seamus works.
Seamus attends Donegal Community Inclusion Training Service.
Eamon Tunney, Keyworker, Donegal Community Inclusion Service, said the event was “very successful”, raising €1,472 for a great cause.
Ireland’s national charity provides guide dogs to those who are vision impaired and Assistance Dogs to the families of children with autism.
The Donegal branch of Irish guide dogs was set up to promote the work of the organisation through awareness and fundraising events.
