Burt 1-5 Cloughaneely 2-9
Cloughaneely put in a dominant second half performance to win by seven points against Burt in the Under 21 ‘B’ Championship final in Convoy.
The Falcarragh men started strong and a somewhat fortunate goal from Patrick Coyle had them four clear in the early stages, but a Shaunie Bradley goal and a Liam McKinney point levelled the game.
Ciaran Porter’s added time point put the Inishowen men 1-5 to 1-4 ahead at the break, but they wouldn’t score in the second half.
And with the scoring power of Donnachadh Ó Baoighill and Blake McGarvey, who hit five and four points respectively, Cloughaneely crept ahead.
Captain McGarvey hit a goal on the hour mark to seal the victory for his side.
