Cloughaneely were crowned Division 2 minor champions with a deserved win over Naomh Padraig, Uisce Chaoin in Convoy this afternoon.
Denis Boyle’s Cloughaneely were much the better team in the first half and they led by 0-5 to no score at the break.
The Falcarragh side then grabbed a goal in the 35th minute when Caoimhin Lynch fired to the net.
Muff did battle and they scored 1-3 without reply with Cillian Doyle scoring the goal.
However, Cloughaneely were able to see the game out and they were thrilled with their win.
