CLERICAL changes in the Raphoe Diocese have been announced this week by Most Rev Alan McGuckian, SJ, Bishop of Raphoe.

It has been confirmed that Rev Stephen Gorman CC of Convoy & Drumkeen will become CC of Milford and Kerrykeel.

Reverend Liam Boyle, CC on Arranmore Island is to become Chaplain Letterkenny Institute of Technology and also Priest in Residence, Convoy. He takes over the LYIT chaplaincy from Rev John Boyce who now moves on to be CC on Arranmore Island.

 

In other changes, Reverend Danny McBrearty, CC of Clar retires after 43 years service to the Diocese.

Visiting priest, Rev Luckasz Przewieslik (SChr), has been recalled by his Religious Order while Rev Pat Davis, SJ is to be Assistant Priest, pro-tem, in Tamney.

 

Bishop McGuckian confirmed that appointments will take effect during the months of July and August and has wished “every blessing on those who have received new appointments”.
