BISHOP of Raphoe Alan McGuckian has announced a reshuffle of clerical positions in the Raphoe Diocese.
In a statement released today, the Bishop’s Office revealed a number of changes including the retirement of Very Rev Cathal Ó Fearrai, Kilbarron, Balyshannon with Kilmacrennan’s Fr Paddy Dunne to replace him, effective from June 24.
Very Rev Michael McKeever PP, VG, Gartan and Termon to be in addition Parish Priest of Kilmacrennan.
Rev Martin Chambers, Chaplain Letterkenny University Hospital to be CC, Kilmacrennan and Termon, resident in Termon.
Rev Francis Ferry, CC, Mountcharles and Drimarone to be Chaplain at Letterkenny University Hospital.
Very Rev Seamus Dagens to be AP, Mountcharles and Drimarone.
Appointments are effective from June 10.
In the statement, Bishop McGuckian, SJ, thanked all those who have accepted the new appointments in the Diocese.
