Ciaran Diver named in Tailteann Cup Team of the Week

Ciaran Diver was named in the Tailteann Cup Team of the Week for his superb performance against Offaly on Saturday.

The Moville native was on fine form as a London side with plenty of Donegal representatives took their first championship win in 11 years.

Diver led the way for  The Exiles with 1-5 beat Offaly in their opening Tailteann Cup game at Glenisk O’Connor Park by 2-20 to 0-12.

Former Gaoth Dobhair player Michael Carroll also kicked a point while ex-Naomh Colmcille man Daniel Clarke hit two points.

Joe McGill of Naomh Mhuire, Convoy and former St Eunan’s man Michael Miller also came off the bench in the win, while ex-Gaoth Dobhair and Naomh Colmcille man Michael Lynch, Termon’s Nathan McElwaine and Na Rossa man Sean McMonagle are also all in the squad.
