For the family and friends of Patsy Collins, his memory was celebrated in a special way this week at the Donegal Hospice in Letterkenny.
Back in August, a memorial match was played at Leckview Park, organised by Letterkenny Rovers, in memory of a man who was a valued club member and a friend to so many. Patsy – known simply as ‘Big P’ – passed away in January last year.

Patsy’s sisters and his friends from Letterkenny Rovers this week made a presentation to Donegal Hospice with the funds raised at the memorial match.
It was a lovely way to round off a charity fundraiser that brought former Rovers players back together especially for Patsy – a proud Letterkenny Rovers man who played such an important part in the life of the club.
